Dutch artist studied at Artez (Hoge School voor de Kunsten Arnhem). Graduated in 1993, direction 3D-Design.
A characteristic of the work is that each object is unique and is made into a series. Techniques such as embroidery, sewing, knitting, crocheting and braiding are applied. Usually using materials that have been discarded. Upcycle is very important. Materials such as acrylic or jute that are not precious are turned into a high quality object.
The time that goes into an object matters. Attention. You see the time. You know there's a lot of time in it.
The time that goes into an object matters. Attention. You see the time. You know there's a lot of time in it. Color is usually applied in a gradient of colors. All colors exist and therefore can always be applied.
