My name is Vilde Elisabeth Becker Malling. I am originally from Denmark, but I have been living in Spain for 13 years. My passion for art comes partly from my family, since my mother was a painter and toymaker and my father a musician.

I have been exploring new techniques, particularly in printmaking and collage, to make large compositions.

To continue my artistic studies, I have been studying since 2019 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Málaga, focusing on painting, drawing and installation. Lately I have been exploring new techniques, particularly in printmaking and collage, to make large compositions that work with the main theme of my work: memory and the way we collect it — the idea that memory is a continually developing jigsaw puzzle, able to be moved around and rearranged as needed.
