Kinga Wieczorek finds it quite difficult to put herself in a certain corner.She paints mostly realistic and figurative, but sometimes she deviates from this. Previously Kinga preferred not to paint portraits. But now she is fascinated by man, by his personality and soul. Although she always goes back to painting landscapes, still lifes and animals, she often shows women in her works.

By nature, Kinga Wieczorek is a person who is curious about life. She experiments with different drawing and painting techniques as well as themes and moods.

I was born on July 25, 1988 in Nowy Tomyśl, raised inZbąszyń (Poland). From childhood I was related to art. I had only one dream, to be an artist, and I did everything to achieve this dream.
In 2008 I graduated cum laude from the Lyceum of Visual Arts inZielona Góra.
Graduating in visual advertising, art painting and art history (the general part of high school + training as an artist HBO), I obtained the professional title: visual artist.

During the years 2009-2016 I had an established contact with "Gallery Pretext" in Krakow (Poland). In 2016 my work was used for the Polish film "The Art of Loving. Story of MichalinaWislocka".

In between, I had decided to move to the Netherlands and start all over again. I found a place of my own inZaandam. This is also where my studio is located. And here I also chose to officially become a Dutch citizen.

In Zaandam I have exhibited several times at the places like Het Weefhuis, Galerie Zaansgroen, Galerie Playroom. I also participated in the National exhibition ´The weekend of the portrait´ 2020 / 2022. My work was also shown in Luxembourg and Belgium. My works have been spread all over the world, including Germany, Poland, France, USA, Mexico, Australia.

Besides creating art, giving lessons at elementary school and at different organizations such as Fluxus (the center for the arts in Zaanstad) and Feaz (Foundation offering workshops for schools, childcare and community centers in the Amsterdam region), I am also active in the field of organization.
Since 2019 I have been preparing exhibitions and small events at Café Fabriek in Zaandam. Occasionally in collaboration with other organizations such as Tengel, Galerie Playroom or Monet Atelier.

As of 2020 I am a board member (first secretary, since the end of 2022 vice-chairman) of Stichting Tengel - Zaanse Platform for Visual Artists in Zaanstreek that brings the art activities and work of Zaan artists to the attention of the public, government and business community.

My next goal is to bring art to people on a large scale through these trainings and my experience. Art is a universal language that brings people together.
